Pre-Treatment Guidelines

To minimize risks and ensure a smooth procedure, please follow these recommendations before your appointment:

• Avoid blood-thinning medications and supplements (e.g., aspirin, ibuprofen, vitamin E, fish oil) for 3–5 days prior to treatment, unless medically necessary.
• Refrain from alcohol for 24–48 hours before your appointment.
• Postpone treatment if you have any active skin infections, cold sores, or ongoing inflammation in the treatment area.
• Arrive with clean skin, free of makeup or skincare products.

Post-Treatment Care

After receiving HA fillers, it’s important to follow aftercare instructions to support proper healing and enhance results:

• Avoid touching or massaging the treated areas for at least 6 hours.
• Refrain from strenuous exercise, saunas, hot tubs, and extreme heat or cold for 24–48 hours.
• Avoid alcohol for 24 hours post-treatment.
• Mild swelling, redness, bruising, or tenderness at injection sites is common and usually goes away within a few days.
• Apply a cold compress gently if swelling occurs (do not apply ice directly to the skin).
• Avoid dental work for 2 weeks post-treatment, especially for fillers in the lower face.
